WE PROTECT EACH OTHER is a series of screenings of Yucca Goes To Group, a short film documenting a performance by two real yucca and Maestas's yucca alter ego, as well as an intimate gift-exchange ritual for viewers. Framed by photo and video performance documentation activating both interior and exterior surfaces of Axle’s Mobile Artspace, these screenings aim to manifest a kinder future through gifts and decentralized reciprocity.
