You already know Bill Hinsvark. He  has worked the front desk at SITE Santa Fe for the past 20 years. But you might not know Bill’s artwork. Before coming to town, Bill worked in commercial photography and in commercial sculpture.  Here in Santa Fe began working on his owns sculpture. Frustrated with the color range inside his studio, he stepped outside on a wet September day and found the wildflowers showing off and the skies wild. His minimalist panel paintings draw from the colors of this newfound lived experience in our stunning and ever-changing landscape. His hard-edge flat panels of color are joined with squished ribbons of other colors. The simplicity and rigidity of the panels is softened and brought alive by the organic and whimsical form of the undulating joints.  Wave Functions engages the rhythm of the seas infused with the colors of Santa Fe.
